My dad is a Prince among men.
He is the coolest man I know--wise, generous, intuitive, solid and good. He is one of those people you can truly trust, can collapse on in weakness. He gives me sweet, enveloping hugs, he calls to check in, he makes me laugh in spite of myself. My dad shares his thoughts, he tells stories, he knows something about everything. He give the best advice and then he forgives you when you don't take it. He provides for us, makes us feel safe, and is generous to his family and to the needy.
He loves my mom and is faithful to her.
God is our Father, and that truth is made richer and more believable for me because of my dad. My dad has a deep and abiding faith in Christ. He loves God and His word and walks in obedience and faith. He taught me the great truths of Christianity and moreover embodies them.
Being my father's daughter is one of the great privileges of my life.
